The Holt-Renfrew flagship store in Vancouver required an absolute premium audio system to enhance the shopping experience at Chanel, Tiffany, Armani and Louis Vuitton. The system had to be able to access any of the 128 inputs spread around the 160,000 ft.² shopping facility and distribute that sound to any or all of the 64 audio zones within the store at a background level comfortable for shopper‘s ears. The same system can operate at zero in a private shopping suite as well as at discotheque level for a runway fashion show. A major factor in choosing the design was ease-of-use for the stores management. They could control the source and volume for any area, either from their offices in Toronto or directly at the wall in each department.
